Mystic Poem to Parvati: An Ode to Unshakable Faith

The Abode of the Unchanging

Song of Devotion to Parvati, Daughter of the Mountain

O Daughter of the summits of silence, You who were born where the earth, in a surge of ecstasy, Came to touch the azure brow of the sky, You bear in your name the patience of ancestral rocks And the majesty of snows that no human gaze can wither.

Upon the sacred peaks of Himavat, The wind howls the dissolution of worlds, But your heart remains the secret temple of the Unshakable. You have watched the ages pass like fleeting clouds, And empires of dust crumble into the depths of the valleys, Without ever a flicker in the flame of your inner gaze.

Your faith is no passive waiting, It is an ascetism of fire beneath the ice, A river of fervor carving the stone of illusions. Seated upon the bare earth, stripped of the senses' superfluity, You have become the mountain itself: As vast, as vertical, as silent.

In the great void of the high altitudes, Where the air grows thin and time fades away, You nourished the secret fire of Tapasya. It is not anger that burns within your breast, But absolute love, that light without decline Which awaits, across millennia, the meeting with the Eternal.

And when the cosmic night envelops creation, When the doubts of humankind crawl in the shadow of the abysses, Your devotion shines like a beacon of pure gold. A gentle, sovereign light, That does not blind, but dissolves the darkness, Reminding every lost soul That perseverance is the key to deliverance.

O Parvati, Mother of quiet strength, Teach us the wisdom of the stone that endures, The purity of the spring gushing from the glaciers, And that deep-seated certainty, nestled in the core of our being, That the Divine always answers the call of the one Who has made of her soul a sanctuary of eternity.
